One of the noteworthy accomplishments of the last group of Bantu immigrants was the creation of political states, or perhaps the introduction of centralized systems of presidency. They established the Maravi Confederacy about 1480. Over the 16th century the confederacy encompassed the bigger element of what's now central and southern Malawi, and, at the height of its impact, within the seventeenth century, its method of presidency affected peoples while in the adjacent here areas of current-working day Zambia and Mozambique.
